Beach Trip

5E, 5M and 5/6S went on a beach trip to Aikerness, this followed on from an assembly and workshop with Tara from The Marine Conservation Society. While she spent time with half of the children either searching for creatures in rockpools or looking for Microplastics, the rest had some free time to explore the beach.

P5's Ceilidh

The last week of Term 3 saw the end of our Scotland topic. To celebrate we planned and held a Ceilidh in the Infant Hall. This included a Scottish themed variety show, a Scottish snack and a Strip the Willow to finish it off.  We were very lucky to have Mrs Bowen and her husband David providing some live music for us, their accordion playing was fantastic to listen and dance to.  We were having so much fun taking part in Strip the Willow, unfortunately not photos were taken of this.
